Yeah, knock off Boies and pick between the rest on fit and feel (and what you think about the rotation system at CSM).Grizz wrote:Wat is a Boies corporate

OP here - thanks. Yeah, I think the rotation system is what makes CSM very different, but the rest are all starting to feel the same...JusticeHarlan wrote:Yeah, knock off Boies and pick between the rest on fit and feel (and what you think about the rotation system at CSM).Grizz wrote:Wat is a Boies corporate

1) Knock out Boies.
2) Decide whether you like the rotation system. If you think it will yield better training and partner mentorship, go to Cravath. If you fear it will chain you to a terrible partner for a year and a half, knock out Cravath.
3) Choose amongst S&C, DPW, and STB based on downtown versus midtown and fit.

To add to point 3, DPW/STB and S&C/DPW have very, very different cultures. I'd be surprised if you weren't attracted to one type over the other.rayiner wrote:1) Knock out Boies.

Also realize you'll be working 200-300 more billable hours a year at CSM with no greater compensation.rayiner wrote:1) Knock out Boies.

200-300 more at CSM as compared to S&C too? I thought S&C/CSM were pretty comparable, with DPW/STB a step down in amount of work.Anonymous User wrote:Also realize you'll be working 200-300 more billable hours a year at CSM with no greater compensation.rayiner wrote:1) Knock out Boies.
