Lame, I'm in the same boat. 3L, callback shortly after labor day, haven't heard anything as of yet.Anonymous User wrote:yesnacholibre wrote:Do you mean that the people you know who have had callbacks have not yet been accepted or rejected?Anonymous User wrote:That office must be hyper-competitive to get an offer at; I know of people across the country who had CBs there and none have been rejected. Re: Connecticut firms?
I received a CB with both CT firms and currently have an offer from one, pending on the other. I won't say which one so don't ask. These markets are small so I doubt many offers go out. Just fyi that they are moving along. (Well one at least)

Any word from Rogin Nassau? It's been 2 and a half weeks since my screener, and I haven't heard a peep.

Don't think shipman has made offers to 2Ls or 3Ls, maybe they are waiting til they interview everyone rather than having rolling offers?Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know if Shipman has made any offers for 2Ls?

They came to OCI and interviewed 2Ls, but that's all I know. They're a pretty small firm.Anonymous User wrote:Do they hire SAs? Or only 3Ls?Anonymous User wrote:Any word from Rogin Nassau? It's been 2 and a half weeks since my screener, and I haven't heard a peep.

I had a callback with them recently. I think they sent me an e-mail after the screener. It looks like a great firm, but they only have one summer position, so I'm not holding my breath.
Grammar edit.

I see. I guess I will give up hope that they just hadn't gotten around to making callbacks yet! Thank you.Brassica7 wrote:Anonymous User wrote:They came to OCI and interviewed 2Ls, but that's all I know. They're a pretty small firm.Anonymous User wrote:Do they hire SAs? Any offers yet from the smaller firms in CT like Reid & Riege and Halloran & Sage?

Any Shipman offers following their Tuesday HR meeting?
Can anyone confirm how long it takes for offers to go out historically?

Re: Connecticut firms?
Anyone know of smaller CT firms that typically hire summer associates/summer clerks, but don't necessarily participate in OCI at law schools?

Re: Connecticut firms?
I just went back to the beginning of this thread and searched for the word "offer." So far, only one person has reported an offer from one firm (presumably DPit or Shipman). Maybe Connecticut is just super-slow with the offers? Or maybe nobody is reporting the offers they're getting/hearing about?Anonymous User wrote:Any offers coming around?
It occurs to me that once one firm starts making offers, the others will have to follow suit if they want to compete for the top picks...
