Does anyone know anything about Hall Render in Indianapolis? Summer size or first year salary?

Don't know starting salary but I know this summer the 2L class is expected to be 5 or 6 people.

Re: Hall Render
I had my callback on October 13th, and they told me 1-2 weeks. I have not heard back either, and I know of two others that callbacks as well and they have no said a word. Hall Render is my first choice, so I have a bad feeling about this. Trying to decide whether or not to write an email to them.

Re: Hall Render
I was interested in Hall Render as well. JD/MHA student here. I went on the callback and loved the place. Emailed later asking about salary info since it was no where to be found and they started dodging my questions. One attorney never responded to my email and I was finally told that its "around" 80k which is way below market in Indy. I don't know how firms do that. Either they are banking that you REALLY like health law or that you don't have any other offers. 20k under market is a lot considering the low pay scale in the first place. For whatever its worth they said they planned on making decisions about 2 weeks ago. No way to know how long it will take because they aren't an NALP firm.

Re: Hall Render
While it is 20k below average in Indy (100K for IM and BT), their billable is only 1750 hours which is about a month less work. Plus, people tend to like being there as the average length of stay at the firm is 7.5 years which is substantial. Regardless, have you heard back then after your interview or know if anyone has heard back?

Ditto. It sounds like they haven't told anyone anything yet but if anyone has heard from them either good or bad post CB please share.Anonymous User wrote:While it is 20k below average in Indy (100K for IM and BT), their billable is only 1750 hours which is about a month less work. I got to ask why. They are not comparable to other indy firms even though as selective.Anonymous User wrote:Bumping for this year's recruiting cycle.

First and foremost, I really want healthcare.
Was very impressed by people that I have met there and others have had glowing things to say regarding the firm.
Also I am interested in one of their satellites, not Indy.
I am primarily interviewing with midlaw and of those firms I have met with they have been far and away the most impressive.
I would be quite interested in hearing the negatives about them though.
