Phoenix CB's
Seems like there are enough people interested in Phoenix to merit a CB thread. Everyone knows the drill, please post as much information as you can/feel comfortable (school range, class rank, screener info, etc.) so we can all have a better idea of what's going on.

We had the other thread going great I thought?
T14. Originally from Phoenix. Top 25%, secondary journal. Solid work experience. Good interviewer.
E-mailed Snell, Fennemore, Greenberg, and Squire Sanders this summer. CB's at all of those but Greenberg in mid-August. Still waiting to hear back. Have a V20 offer in another state that the Phoenix firms know about, but they haven't gotten back to me either way.

The other thread wasn't really dedicated to CB's, just discussing firms.
Good luck to all!

Reading Comp fail by last poster. My Fennemore callback, as stated, was in Mid-August.

Have they started CBs from OCI yet? Anyone have a sense of the turnaround time from OCI->CB for L&R, Bryan Cave, Quarles & Brady, Steptoe & Johnson?

I'm not the same person, but your post wasn't worded clearly. Don't be a douche about it just because someone couldn't understand your poorly worded post.Anonymous User wrote:Reading Comp fail by last poster. My Fennemore callback, as stated, was in Mid-August.
Aside from that, I am very interested in knowing when CB's start to come in. Haven't heard of any CB's yet from the firms listed.

Bowman has called back local ASU/UA or out of state schools?

I know that at least two of the firms you listed in the CB list have started getting back to people. Are you sure on the rest of them (e.g. Jones Skelton hasn't even done OCI yet)? Are you at ASU/UA or out of state?Anonymous User wrote:Firms that have already started CBs with ASU/UA:

My point is that those firms are actively giving callbacks and are not sitting on it. Mostly word for the out of state people if they are being ignored.Anonymous User wrote:I know that at least two of the firms you listed in the CB list have started getting back to people. I have friends at both ASU/UA and that is why I know about it. I am POSITIVE that all the listed ones have at least arranged callbacks for some ASU/UA kids, or sent out rejection letters to strike-outs. Jones Skelton called back at least one ASU student that I know of. If they have not yet interviewed at UA (where you obviously are from), then you are still in the game.
Most of the word I have is from ASU. UA's OCI was later, so don't fret too much, though my friends at UA are getting callbacks already.
I hear that Bryan Cave does a "super-callback". ASU's was last week. When is UA's? Has anyone from UA heard back from them?

Re: Phoenix CB's
Yeah, almost all of the firms listed interviewed at UA this last week. All except for Jones Skelton, I believe. I know people that have received callbacks/rejections from almost all of the firms listed. What do you mean by a "super-callback"?Anonymous User wrote:My point is that those firms are actively giving callbacks and are not sitting on it. It's sort of awkward sounding honestly. Sharing a day with 3 of your closest competitors? Do they provide the axes for the battle royal or do the students bring them? Probably reduces the amount of time it takes to interview everyone, I will give you that.

My understanding is that they provided applicants with Colts. Something about giving a national firm local flavor . . .Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:^ super day where they cb a bunch of people at once.

Some reject letters are out, so it stands to reason that they have made callbacks.

Also, Bryan Cave might do a super callback, but they also do normal ones.
