I picked up an interview via OCI for an IP boutique that is 20+ days after my schools other OCI interviews, and I'm wondering what gives. It seems as though the interviews are almost strictly for 3Ls (which I am), but I'm wondering if perhaps they are hoping that doing it so far after OCI will thin the herd of people who will actually accept offers? Then again, my school requires that everyone go to all interviews, so I'm not sure that strategy makes any sense.
Anyone have any thoughts as to why they would schedule their interviews well after OCI is completed?
