How long does Covington DC take to give callbacks? Have any YLS students heard back yet? Just trying to plan my CB schedule...

My interviewer told me that it would take at least a week since they put a lot more energy into picking people than your typical firm.

Anyone know what Covington CBs are like? Is there anything peculiar about them? Or perhaps are they shorter since they already have called references?

Anyone know if people from non t14's even have a chance at an offer? I got a callback there, but am not at a t14.

Yes, they hire from non-T14's - past summers have come from Maryland and GWU.

Callbacks at Covington are just like callbacks at other firms.

Same as any other callback. I met with the person I did my on-campus interview with, one recruiting coordinator, four attorneys, and another recruiting coordinator. No different than other callbacks.

Were you told ahead of time who you'd be meeting or given any other details? CB tomorrow, haven't heard a word since I spoke to recruiting to set it up.

I received an e-mail 3-4 days before my interview confirming it and including the information for the people with whom I would be interviewing.

Based on an extremely limited sample size, roughly a week.

There's a lot of variability here because it depends on (1) when you interviewed and (2) what day the "recruiting committee" meets. That being said, you should generally know within 1 week and at most within 2 weeks.
