Does anyone have any experience with the style of Fox Rothschild's callbacks? The recruitment person said they bring all the candidates in on the same day. Also, does anyone know how long it takes them to make offers?

Ballard ding letter today after CB last Thursday (8/25).

Neither surprised nor disappointed. I was not much of a fan of the firm and I'm pretty sure they could tell, but I wanted the CB practice.

Morgan Lewis Philly CB through mass mail
Dechert Philly CB through OCI
To the "Anonymous" user:

How did your Dechert CB go? What are your stats if you don't mind my asking?
thanks!
my stats are I was top 10% at a T25 and transferred to MVP, where I wrote onto a secondary journal.

Haven't had my Dechert CB yet. I'm doing all my Philly CBs the second week in September. Can also add Duane Morris CB to the list above, and trying to squeeze in one or two more Philly firms while I'm in the area.

Ding from Ballard (after CB) and Fox (after screener). CB from Archer, Saul and DM in the next week. Has anyone heard from Schnader or Stradley? I've gotten radio silence from them.

Transferred out of Philly so I'm pretty sure I know who about 75% of the people on this thread are. Best of luck to you all.

Since you're out, do people know who I am?

I don't understand. How would you "know" who 75% of the people are?

Rejection via snail mail by Blank a few days ago. Screener on the 19th.

Saul rejection via...I think email. Mass mail in early July.

I think Blank might be holding people for a second round... or at least that's what I keep telling myself. Had a good experience at my Pepper callback, decisions next Friday for the first round.

What weeks did they offer to schedule you? I have a late-ish CB there, but I'm not sure if they run late in general.

Just joining this thread now. Philly T1, slightly above median, secondary journal, ties to the region. Have had pretty successful interview season.

CBs from:
Morris Nichols (DE)
Richards Layton (DE)
A&G
Saul
Fox
Blank
Drinker
Ballard
Cozen
Duane
Dechert
Morgan

Received offer from Ballard approx. 1 week after callback and am still waiting to hear from DM. I am canceling callbacks w/ all listed above Ballard on the list. Hope this opens spots for others.

I also have a Ballard offer & am waiting to hear from DM. Out of curiosity, mind sharing what you liked that prompted you not even to do the CBs at Fox, Blank, and Drinker?

There aren't any Philly T1s? There's Penn, then T2s. Confused.

Have heard enough anecdotally about Blank Rome to be turned off. Hate Drinkers first year "training" (read: salary cut) program. And I didn't like the vibe from my Fox screener. In fact, I thought it went really poorly and was surprised to get the CB at all. Really I'm just being more picky at this point. I know I wouldn't take any of the over Ballard, where I liked everyone I met and am interested in practice areas somewhat unique to the firm (at least in Philly).

Did you tell Duane/any other firms about your Ballard offer? Do you plan to?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
