Re: TX Interview Program (W&L, W&M, UNC, WF)
How would you weigh positive responses to interview thank-you emails?
Four responses from 13 emails, containing things like "you would be a very good fit, we look forward to the possibility of bringing you down to Texas", or "it was very good/pleasant to meet with you, we will be in touch shortly", etc. No actual commitments, but a lot of positive feedback.
Also, if an interviewer states that an interviewee is in a great shape and can expect to have multiple offers to compare.
Over-analyzing?
+1 on if the CB was from Weil Dallas or Houston.

Wow, nothing? I guess the "A" team schools from interviews the day before took all the CBs. . .

Nah, be patient. Most firms won't start getting back to ppl until next week from what I understand.Anonymous User wrote:Wow, nothing? I guess the "A" team schools from interviews the day before took all the CBs. . .

I hope so; the TIP thread for G-town et al. seems to be moving at a quicker pace. The Locke Lord recruiter said their CB date is Aug.26, set in stone. I guess I can hope for maybe a week/week and a half notice?. . .

True, but there's not a lot of overlapping firms that have issued CB's over there. I think Patton Boggs is the only one where they've gotten word back and we're still stuck without feedback.Anonymous User wrote:I hope so; the TIP thread for G-town et al. seems to be moving at a quicker pace. I think a week or less is pretty common for callback notice.

Anyone ever hear anything from Haynes Boone or Baker Botts? Locke Lord?
Also disappointed by the lack of discussion about the duo from K&L Gates.

Nothing from BB, the interview did not seem to go well. The HB interviewer seemed extremely promising in response to my thank-you email, but nothing yet. The KL guys were a trip, loved the interview. . . Its possible they weren't looking for anyone and just wanted to have a good time.
