I heard back within a few days of my screener, and got my offer 3 days after my callback

Anybody hear anything from Mintz Levin? Is it just radio silence all around?

I got my 2nd ding from Holland & Knight today. 1st one snail mail 2 weeks ago, this one via email. Fun stuff.

FWIW I haven't heard from Mintz since OCI. Maybe they're slow playing? Maybe they're gonna act fast on people who get offers and still express interest?

Can anyone with a WH offer tell me how long it was from CB --> offer? Thanks. Wondering what my status is.

Looking for some advice on Nutter as I have a screener coming up. I know it's smaller and more specialized (in terms of clients/practices) and more of a "lifestyle firm" then some of the larger Boston firms; but anything else important to know? I figure the "Why Boston" will be big since I'm not from there (though I am from the northeast), but I'd like to know if there's anything else about the firm that's particularly unique that I can't get from the website.

They have a Hyannis office. That is certainly unique.

I hope not, I'm still praying for one.
Got a Goodwin offer approx. a week post CB. Offer dinner next week.
When is the Goodwin offer dinner? I got an offer, but didn't hear about the dinner - will be in Boston the end of this week for another offer dinner - would really like to meet some people at Goodwin.

i really want goodwin. i had my cb last wednesday, though (over a week now). this gives me a little bit of hope, but also makes me think that they've already considered my application...meaning either 1) i'm not good enough for now, or 2) ding in the mail. this process is really tearing me apart.

Anyone heard from K&L Gates? I got the sense that they would be making offers today or tomorrow.

Anyone here with a Skadden Boston offer? Are you going to take it? Are you deciding between Skadden and another Boston firm? What are you thinking?

Had the same exact thought process and had written Goodwin off before I got the call.

I'm surprised Boston firms are so much more...deliberate, shall we say, compared to New York firms. Seems like a lot of my NYC-bound friends heard within 48 hours, if not sooner. Very curious about why this is.

I think I'm doing Ropes over Skadden (stronger/greater variety for corporate in Boston, and a nicer place in general), but still undecided.
