Do you enjoy the atmosphere there? What area in the country are we talking about?

What region? How did you find out about firm? Did you apply through OCI or direct mail?

What kind of work do you do? Level of responsibility? What's the associate/partner ratio like?

Can you give us an idea of the numbers/school you got/attend in order to get an impression of you? I ask because I'd like to know how useful mass mailings are if you don't have top third grades

It's jarring to see someone with your writing style lay a smackdown on others like that. I didn't know your keyboard even had shift keys on it until just now.dood wrote:btw,
"I.e." stands simply for "that is." "I.e." is used in place of "in other words," or "it/that is." It specifies or makes more clear.
"E.g." means "for example" and comes from the Latin expression exempli gratia, "for the sake of an example . . ."
just a FYI for nobody in particular. my use of "i.e." above reminded me of how much i hate it when people misuse the two.

I'd certainly hope not. Though that answers my questions about how much written product of yours gets returned.

what kind of hours do you work? partners? associates?
if you know anybody working in bigger firms V100s, how do your assignments, and hours compare with theirs in substance and complexity?

Was this the kind of firm that you were looking for at the start of your job search for 2L summer? Why'd you choose this firm?

Are you planning on accepting an offer with your firm if one is forthcoming or are you going to test the waters a bit during your 3L year? Why?
Edit: What's your thought on a lower salary level for similar hours to biglaw? Is it worth it because the work is less complex?
