Personally, I've already dropped out after 1 yr and will be entering the Army in 2012 but I have a friend entering UH Law this Fall and have two questions concerning job prospects. Lets just say that hypothetically, he'll be an avg student with avg credentials and simply wants a job in 2014 that allows him to pay back $60K of stafford loans.
1) Percentage wise, what are the chances of this person finding a job within a year of graduation that pays a yearly salary $35K-$40K? $40K-$45K?
2) On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, how difficult is it for such a person (speaks only a little spanish) to start a solo practice right after graduating in Houston? Relatively speaking, what area of law would be the easiest for starting a solo practice in Houston?
