how much time does it take to mass-mail firms?
I mass-mailed about 50 firms, and it took me a little over 8 hours. That is, I researched each of the firms, tailored each cover letter to the specific office, etc. Does that sound like it is taking way too much time?

Emailed or snail mailed? Did you include references or a writing sample?

Re: how much time does it take to mass-mail firms?
For me it took about 4-6 hours to do my cover letters, gather all the required documents / information, and check / double-check my application packages for about 10 firms. I sent off the info via e-mail. I got a call for an interview within 8 hours of sending my materials off. I had the interview already. I think it went really well...the attorney I interviewed with was great! I won't find out about a callback until after they have done OCI at other schools. So, I already have an interview down before OCI in a market that I want...that sure feels good.scared2L wrote:I mass-mailed about 50 firms, and it took me a little over 8 hours.
