same here; have a screener and love the idea of working in miami and have ties. at t20 and wondering if one screener is worth the trip down...

Bump. What's the word on the Miami market so far this summer? I have CBs scheduled at Akerman and Bilzin.

When was your OCI? Currently have CBs scheduled at Greenberg, McDermott, and Bilzin but I'm still waiting to hear something from Akerman.

how was the McDermott screener? are they looking for SA's for specific groups? from what i read, it looks like the office is small.

I have CB with AS and BS next week. I know a friend who had a CB with BS and Hunton, but nothing back yet...

No one can tell you. I know someone who got an offer there a full month and a half after the cb (described as a waitlist type situation by the hiring chair). They protect their yield since the have so few spots and don't want no-offers. It will depend on how many open offers are out there.

Anyone have any idea what salaries are after the first year? i know a bunch of firms pay 130-140 the first, year, but what about after that?

Also, what are bonuses (including signing bonuses) like for Miami biglaw? TIA
