I hope areyouinsane is working on his masterpiece while he's banned. I'm hoping there will be a toothless crone character with bony witchfingers.

Glad to know because I have a question. How do you like the Ivy of Philly?

I was by there (with a friend about to attend) a couple weeks ago. The law school was undergoing some heavy-duty construction. Looked like they will have to work around the clock to have it ready by Aug.

To keep this on topic, is anyone from your school faced with temp work (other than summer jobs)?

Kinda lost interest in his/her increasingly derisive portrayals. :\

While we wait for areyouinsane to come back, here's a JDU thread on the subject that's pretty funny: --LinkRemoved--

They seem convinced of his identity. If it is the same guy then I'm sad his blog is no longer up and running.

That thread is hilarious. This post made me lose it:

"Good stuff. I think the greatest documentary imaginable would be one where you follow 5 TTTers from the LSAT through their first barrista job. At each step of the way, you have experienced lawyers telling them not to do it, and you check in on them at key points such as the week before 1L, first week of 1L, right before finals, right after grades come out, the rejection of 2L OCI, etc. and watch them become more and more dejected."

If the JDU thread linked here is correct, then this is an article about Scott Bullock. I'm not sure how they identified him. As I said in the other thread, I'm not on JDU. I have no idea if they are correct in their identification. I thought people might like to read some background information.

This article was front page of the WSJ on September 24, 2007

Hard Case: Job Market Wanes for U.S. Lawyers

A few days later a follow-up says he is becoming an electrician, but that was 4 years ago. Becoming an electrician

I have no knowledge if areyouinsane is Scott Bullock, I'm just posting the articles that came up under that name. Many of you have probably seen this article before. I hadn't.

After some creeping around, here's what I found out:

areyouinsane = Scott Bullock = Law is 4 Losers (aka L4L) = SkaddenFarts = Big Debt Small Law Blog (no longer up) = Tom the Temp (the same blog he has referenced in some of his posts on TLS)

I guess that's the reason he never responded to anyone's suggestion that he start a blog/write a book.
