Attire Question
I landed a V100 interview through mass mailing and then contacted an alum at the firm. He invited me to come to the firm to talk to him a week before the interview. The firm said it is business casual when it comes to attire, but still expects people coming in for an interview to wear suits. Should I wear a suit for the visit too? That's what I'm leaning towards. Never know who I'm going to meet while I'm there.

+1. Though biz casual may be appropriate, a suit is never wrong.Stanford4Me wrote:Suit. Yes.

Re: Attire Question
I would probably wear business casual for an informational interview. No need to be overly formal for an informal meeting.

You will never look out of place because you're wearing a suit inside a law firm.

The last thing you want to be wearing is khakis when that partner happens to be wearing cufflinks.vb007 wrote:I would probably wear business casual for an informational interview. No need to be overly formal for an informal meeting.

Re: Attire Question
Amen. The firm at which I'm an SA is technically business casual. However, I wear a suit every day. And it's not weird, because most of the partners and the entire litigation department do too. You can't go wrong in a suit.Heartford wrote:You will never look out of place because you're wearing a suit inside a law firm.
