Ties for Palo Alto?
What sort of ties are expected for Palo Alto and other Silicon Valley offices? Is it possible to get hired assuming I have top credentials and a solid explanation of why I want to be there, even if I'm not from CA and have no real ties to the area? I plan to also bid NYC, but I would like to at least try for Palo Alto as well unless it's a total waste of bids.

I've heard that "ties" to IP law are sufficient for PA/SV if that was your plan.

I'm interested in VC and other corporate related work, I feel like it may be a tough sell.englawyer wrote:I've heard that "ties" to IP law are sufficient for PA/SV if that was your plan.
