3L here, no summer job from OCIP, but improved grades to point where I'm competitive for Dist Ct. Clerk (top 15% at top 14). The problem is this is not my first choice as far as career options. I'd rather work at a firm that pays well, or get into a gov agency immediately. The problem here is timing, I'm not going to turn down an offer from a judge that could be the difference between employment and unemployment.
How are others handling the timing of the 3L job search?
