Hi, I have some questions about davis and hastings' employment prospects.
For both schools, around what class rank do you need to be in to think about doing big law? how has job search been for current students? How many 3L's graduated with law firm jobs?
Experiences from current students would be appreciated. Any insight would be helpful! Thanks in advance.

Top 10% would put you in the running for biglaw, and top 5% would give you good odds from either of these schools. The SF legal market is the toughest in the country, tread carefully.

At least for OCI pre-select cutoffs, top 10% will get you in the door at most firms. The absolute worst you could do and still meet the min. GPA preferences is top 15% for most big law firms.
Rising 2L here, so what I know beyond that is really nothing.
