Firm Fees for M&A/Financing rounds
Besides billable hours, is it possible to ball park what a law firm takes home for a transaction (in terms of basis points etc)?

Wachtell is infamous for charging in that style, the way an investment bank does. It is less clear to me that other law firms do, even for M&A or financial transactions, but that's not exactly public information so it would be difficult to pin down.
