Assuming (based on 1L grades) that my target markets, DC, NY and Boston are going to be locked out to me, I'm looking for advice on taking BigLaw / MidLaw in a tertiary market (Nashville).
Assuming I have an "in" to Bradley Arant's Nashville office and a better "in" to Bass, Berry and Sims would it ever be possible to move into a BigLaw NYC, DC or Boston firm, assuming I can get a good rec from 2L summer and grades are better 2L year, or does taking a job in a tertiary market sound the deathknell for primary markets?
Looking for legitimate advice here.
