Healthcare Law

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Jun 16, 2011 11:59 am

Hi guys, I'm at a T25 and very interested in Healthcare law. Other than Epstein Becker, Manatt, and McDermott, does anyone know of any firms that put a big emphasis on Healthcare law? Firms with sizable departments or even better exclusively focused on Healthcare law? Thanks everyone.

Depends on the type of healthcare law you want to practice. The largest healthcare law firms according to Modern Healthcare are:

King & Spalding
Hall Render
Waller Lansden
Epstein Becker
Nelson Mullins
hogan lovells
Garfunkel Wild
McGuire Woods
Drinker Biddle

For HIPAA issues, look for firms with specific healthcare regulatory practice groups.
For Antitrust issues, look for firms with strong healthcare litigation practices

Almost all for-profit healthcare and hospital companies are based in Nashville. Go where the clients are.
Texas is a huge market for healthcare as well.
