NYU EIW- 3.8
Still waiting on one more grade, but currently have a 3.8. 1L SA at V50. Should I be competitive for wachtell and other V5? What about boutiques like boies and w&c? Will it matter if I'm not on LR? Don't know if grades are strong enough to grade-on. Thanks in advance.

You'll be competitive everywhere. Top firms care much more about strong grades AND interview ability/background, it's not just a club for those with the absolute top GPA. If you maintain anything like a 3.8, your grades won't be holding you back during EIW.

Right. Grades are a threshold at some firms; if you're above the line you have the same shot as everyone else, and then you're competing on your "total package" of resume, personality, grades, practice interests, etc.thesealocust wrote:You'll be competitive everywhere.
