top 20 top 1/3 Clerkship Prospect

Im ranked somewhere in the top 1/3 at GW (we only get percentage ranges) and not on a journal. I do have two professors willing to write strong LOR. What is the consensus, is worth applying to fly over district court judges and bankruptcy judges or am I wasting my time?

If you *really* want to clerk, I would look towards state trial/appellate courts. Although, depending on the state, state appeals courts can be pretty competitive.

I might be wrong, but I believe that is a really big deal for clerking.
