Ummm okay I don't need judgment or advice from bored people who have nothing better to do. If someone knows the answer, please respond. If not... I don't know really why you would be responding.

I don't know the answer, but, if it does occur, it probably would be part of a pre-employment screening process & not a random test during your internship.

For future reference, take the neccessary steps to help yourself pass one if there would be one administered regardless is you know the answer beforehand or not. No need to raise questions that could potentially bring about the one thing your trying to avoid.

I disagree, OP should ask if they drug test, preferably during the initial interview. Then, ask about specific drugs:Master_Splinter wrote:For future reference, take the neccessary steps to help yourself pass one if there would be one administered regardless is you know the answer beforehand or not. it was my understanding that executive branch positions (DoJ, USAO etc) do drug test, but i'm not sure about judicial internships etc.

I had to get drug screened for my summer internship within 2 weeks before starting (federal agency, not DOJ/USAO, etc.)

Not OP but thank you. Jees if there is one thing an anonymous forum should be for it is this, one of the few things that can be difficult to ask about in person.Anonymous User wrote:They do not (interned there summer 2013).
