Atlanta vs Boston

Post by droges » Sun May 15, 2011 11:38 pm

I know that the legal markets are depressed but does anyone have any information on Boston and Atlanta such as current opportunities (if they exist) and future growth. Whereas I am unfamilliar with the Atlanta market, I know Boston's economy is very strong when it comes to bio-tech and healthcare and was wondering if the expansion in these areas will help generate growth for firms in these cities.

Boston firm hiring was up 5-10% this past year, a few firms like Choate who cut their summer programs have resurrected them. It's not amazing, but it's slowly recovering.
