Got an interview for an externship at NYC law dept in queens tort division. http://www.nyc.gov/html/law/html/careers/honors.shtml
If you go to that link, you will see it says they are done hiring for summer honors program, but have this position available still. Is it as prestigious as a regular summer internship there (1L) or no?

The NYC Law Department, Queens Tort division is not prestigious no matter how you slice it, honors program or not. That said, its a good opportunity for hands on litigation experience.

The NYC Law Department, Queens Tort division is not prestigious no matter how you slice it, honors program or not. That said, its a good opportunity for hands on litigation experience.
