When an interviewer says I can expect expect a decision with X amount of weeks, and then doesn't call back, should I follow up after that time?
If so, how should the inquiry be worded?
Thank you.

Re: Interview Follow-up
E-mail is fine.(Mr./Ms.) (person),
I would like to thank you for the opportunity to interview for a (internship/clerkship/summer associate) position with (employer name) this (semester). I remain interested in the position, as it is (geographical/non-legal reason you gave at the interview) and related to my (interest in/goal of) (legal interest/ambition you mentioned in the interview).
I was hoping to hear a decision by (expected date), but I understand that you are busy and likely have many applicants to consider. I look forward to hearing back from you and the chance to work for (employer) this (semester).
Sincerely,
(name)
