USAO SDNY vs. SEC Honors

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Mar 14, 2011 12:42 pm

For someone who aspires to join a government agency upon graduation, which will provide the best 1L summer experience?

Thanks in advance!!

PS: for the sake of anonymity, I'd prefer not to disclose which division within each.

Honestly, my interests are not deep in any particular area. I'm more interested in getting "field" experience, i.e. what it's like to be a government lawyer (I realize this varies). Also, if one of the two would seem more impressive next summer when I'm trying to land a 2L gig at say, the DOJ...that'd be cool.
