Eight days ago, I interviewed at OCI for a firm a few hours away from where I live. Yesterday, another firm in the same city called me to set up an interview there. Would it be appropriate to call/e-mail the person with whom I interviewed to check in with them, let them know I'm going to be in town for this other interview, and see if they wanted to meet with me the day prior or after?
I figure it wouldn't hurt to let them know their competitors are wanting to see me, plus it would beat having to make the trip twice when I could just stay overnight. Thoughts?

Re: Question Re: Follow Ups
I don't think it will hurt you, but don't expect them to jump and say, "please, please come in!" Just be polite about it and you'll get a simple yes or no answer.
