Are any CA biglaw firms hiring 3Ls at this time? Forum

Any of them hiring 3Ls to be 1st year associates this fall? I know it's very late, but maybe there are still openings.

Partner I spoke to at OGI suggested that Cali hiring market for 3Ls is completely dead.

Jesus, is the Cali market really that bad? Maybe I should just take BU with money.

From my 2L experience, I would say California (at least the Bay Area anyway) is nearly ice cold.

I haven't seen official numbers but I suspect California was a tougher market than DC or Boston this year. Small classes and a ton of competition.

Try Kirkland SF/SV. I know this sounds counterintuitive...but I have inside sources that say they are lacking assoc. Esp. in lit.
