So...a T60 currently has only has 1/6 of 3L's employed
Is this normal? I know that offers are given after 2L summer and that many smaller employers won't make offers until later this semester. I'm really not familiar with how the entire process works and so I'm posting this to find out if anyone knows if this is normal.
I'm not going to say which school, but it has a lawyer/judge rating of above 3.3.
So.... Normal or no?

Not normal for most years I would think, but for class of 2011 I think that's about right. Everything below T14 is getting crushed.

Sounds about right. I'd be surprised if it weren't even lower at other schools around the T60

don't worry...it'll be 95% employment ten or twelve months from now

This is OP. I knew that it was bad...but this bad? Really?Anonymous User wrote:Not normal for most years I would think, but for class of 2011 I think that's about right. Everything below T14 is getting crushed.
I would rather not say - this is mostly because it would be easy to figure out the school if I did (and that would defeat the purpose of posting it anonymously).General Tso wrote:which region?
Simply because I used "T60" doesn't mean that the school isn't in the T40. I decided to move the border primarily because all of these schools are similar in placement, regardless of their exact 10 spot range.Mickey Quicknumbers wrote:Sounds about right. Of course it will be. Otherwise the school would fall out of the T50 (and most likely the T80 or T90).General Tso wrote:don't worry...it'll be 95% employment ten or twelve months from now
But...this is horrible!

It is bad, but I don't think this statement is quite accurate. I'm at a T25, and as of December, about 60% of the 3Ls had jobs lined up post graduation. We won't end up above 80%, but I think we'll end up around there by May.Anonymous User wrote:Not normal for most years I would think, but for class of 2011 I think that's about right. So it isn't rosy, but it isn't attrocious either.

Great guess. I was thinking Temple the whole time. Then UConn also came to mind.lolschool2011 wrote:I'm going with Case Western Reserve for $0 dollars

This is a complete "aside," but who's seen that "Gold Rush" show and found there were obvious parallels between their approach and going to LS w/debt these days?
One of the episodes revealed they sunk about 200k into setting up their equipment and digging for a grand total of around 8k of gold found.
/self if this is what happens upon LS graduation.
