Re: USAO SLIP Interview
Unless they've changed the terms, SLIP is a paid honors internship for 2L's and 3L's (pre-clerkship). All 1L positions and unpaid internships, during the summer or school year are under the VIP program. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just trying to figure out exactly what you're doing.kalvano wrote:SLIP for the summer.

I'll second this (after I figured out what "VIP" stood for). SLIP is long over. There are still unpaid positions being filled, but those aren't SLIP.vamedic03 wrote:Unless they've changed the terms, SLIP is a paid honors internship for 2L's and 3L's (pre-clerkship). Re: USAO SLIP Interview
They call it Summer Law Internship Program (not Honors program).
It's a summer internship with the USAO here.
I'm just going by what they are calling it.

I think there's a disconnect. DOJ SLIP does not place with local USAOs, does it? So whichever federal district this is probably calls their summer internship program SLIP, not to be confused with "SLIP."

I guess so. Anyway, it was nice. They were pleasant and informative.
