Does a 1L jag summer internship pretty much preclude you from securing a us attorney or firm position come fall oci? I'd like to experience it, but I'm not sure it's what I want to do after graduation. I'm interested bc a 2L buddy spoke highly of his internship experience.
Thanks

Re: 1L JAG Internship question
The reality is that it doesn't matter what you do your 1L summer as long as it's something legal. You should apply for the internship, especially if you want to consider the possibility of JAG in your 2L summer. 1L JAG internships are hard to get (only 25 spots) but they'll look more kindly on a repeat applicant for both the Active Duty boards and the 2L internship applications.
