The articles below describe an increased presence of U.S. law firms in Brazil.

I realize this seems to be a fairly recent development, but does anybody out there have any experience with this type of job. I'm trying to gauge the possibility of getting a summer associateship in Brazil, or potentially working as an attorney after finishing school. Also, I'd be interested to know the salaries that US attorneys could expect to earn in Brazil.

I spent 2 years in Brazil as a missionary and loved it. I speak Portuguese fairly-well, though I would certainly need to improve my professional vocabulary, but I would love to have the chance to go back.
