I finished with pretty good grades this semester at a top-40 school. Based on previous years, I should be around the top 5%. However, rankings have not yet been released, but they should be out in the next couple of weeks. Should I go ahead and send out my cover letter and resume with just the grades on the transcript or should I wait for the rankings? Could I go ahead and put "Top 10% expected" based on previous years (sort of like some resumes put "Juris Doctor Expected in 2013")?
Edited to add: This is anonymous because a couple of folks at my school know who I am, and I would prefer for everyone not to know about my grades.

Check with your CSO. My understanding is that different schools have different policies on this.

I was told by CSO that I should not put an expected rank, but just to put GPA.
