in this situation, what is to be done:
problem: need associate job
Law facts: 2010 grad, T50 LS, Magna (top 10%), LaW Rev, won nat mc comp, did a legal clinic (stellar performance on some insane cases), general stud.
Work facts: BS ChE, 10 yrs exp, oil, gas, chemicals, food and beverage, energy, alt fuels, and evil for DARPA, including lasers and flying shit.
Strange Facts: Have finished half my MBA. Need to finish other half but aint paying (Katrina cut this short).
soft facts: great looking, personable, a little crazy. (probably won't work on patent dorks)
killer facts: didnt do a summer job at all. I had a real job. (acknowledgement: knowing what i know now i may have done this differently, maybe not-- I did try one interview session with OCI and that really really pissed me off.)
What do I do to get a pat lit or pros job?
I have no location constraints, but prefer DC.
Any ideas are appreciated. In this market I am looking for people who can tell me what chances i stand or how to improve my chances. and anything else! help!

No idea. Probably the same thing the laid off associates are doing. I do not envy your position.
