Is anyone else still really behind in classes?
I finished callbacks 2 weeks ago but I still haven't done much of anything. How screwed am I? Is it possible to catch up?

I am. I'm finally getting caught up in the classes w/ lighter reading assignments, but I'm just hilariously and fantastically behind in the 30-50 pages/class classes. Between catch-up, cite-checking packets, writing my note, and other EC's, I'm not optimistic at the moment. I'm grateful OCI's over and it turned out OK, but right now life is no fun. I'm just hoping to be caught up by the time November rolls around. Hoping to be, but not expecting to be.

OMG me too! One of my classes assigns a shit-ton of reading and I am now literally more than 1,000 pages behind. Not even going to try.

Thank God I'm not the only one. I'm literally 200+ pages behind in Tax. I still don't know wtf basis means. I try to start midway with the current readings but it seems that to understand what's going on I have to build on the basics which the prof covered, like, way over a month ago. What makes it worse is that the classes I'm taking now are harder than pretty much all of the 1L classes, at least subject material wise, but I guess that's my own fault for choosing these courses. And to make it worse, I'm signed up for 4 times as many extracurriculars now than I did 1L year...MrKappus wrote:I am. I hope to be caught up by November too...we'll see.

I haven't done two weeks of reading for each class. At this point, I feel like "fuckitgoddammit" is the best approach.

To say that I have done absolutely nothing is only a very minor exaggeration. I have done 0 reading for 2 of my classes and only a few chapters in another 2.

+1. I feel like this semester hasn't even existed. I luckily made one of my classes (for which I have done zero reading) pass/fail. Kinda wish I could do that for the rest of my classes... for the rest of my time in school.Anonymous User wrote:+1. i was two and a half weeks behind in my classes. sucks because this week is midterm week and i have senioritis.
SOOOO ready to be done. After 4 years part-time in school with a FT job and family (among other issues), Biglaw is going to feel like a cake-walk...

1st semester 2L year was my worst of law school grade wise. I never fully caught up. But hey, it got me a job.

200+ pages behind in land use law (why did I choose that class in the first place?), a week+ behind in my cite check.
