I hate the posts that nitpick over language, but...
Two days ago I got an email from a partner at a firm I recently got an offer from. The email was in respone to a question I asked, and in the first few lines he congratulated me on the offer and said "the firm is VERY high on you." <--- Exact quote (emphasis in original for those of you who share my hatred of spading)
I feel like I'd be an idiot to turn down this firm because it seems like a guaranteed job offer. Then again, the high expectations may be my undoing. It's also in a location I find less than ideal, but I will be working at a firm in a location I like more for the first part of the summer, so do I just take this as a chance to know I have at least one in the pocket?

Seriously?
I also don't understand what you're asking.
You have an offer from this firm, so you're wondering what, exactly?
Do you have other offers you like better?

I think you're reading too much into it. Go with the locations you like better and just don't suck at work.I have offers in locations I like better. I'm asking whether I am reading too much into it, or whether this is a signal that they think so highly of me that I'm essentially golden for an associate offer.

Cool, thanks. Figured as much. I try not to read too much into emails, especially since I usually blast the people that do read too much into them. This situation, combined with other stuff that has happened with this firm just made me think a little deeper into it.

The stripper doesn't actually love you.
