So I got an interview with the DOJ and they're shipping me in to D.C. for an interview. Since I'll be there overnight, they're giving me a per diem for a hotel room.
Should I use up most/all of the per diem for a nice hotel room near the office, or is there some reason to stay at some cheaper joint, farther away, to impress them with my frugality (or whatever)? In other words, how much do you think they'll be paying attention to the price of hotel rooms on reimbursement receipts?
