All of my callbacks/offers were in the same two weeks - this made is much easier to make a quick decision.

Re: How long did it take you to accept your offer?
I accepted on day 26 of 28. I started to apologize for taking so long, and the HP said that I should not be apologizing and he thought it was silly that some students cut short their cycles w/o going on all their callbacks and exploring all their options.
The peace of mind you get knowing you made the right choice is more important in most cases, although I can imagine that there are definitely some circumstances in which it makes sense to accept early and withdraw.

27.5 days. They really weren't my first choice, but at least I'll be able to split my summer with another firm (both firms are in Texas).

Accepted on day 5. I'd already been on all of my callbacks and had a chance to see all of the other firms. They were my top choice going into callbacks and after callbacks. Knew I wouldn't take any other offers if they came, so no need to wait any longer.

A long weekend. I was too excited to wait, and they were by far my top choice (and I made sure they knew that before the offer). I considered waiting longer, but figured there was no harm in showing enthusiasm.

exactly a week, though when I got the phone call with the offer, I pretty much told the partner that I was going to accept

If you "tell em they're your first choice (even if they're not)" then you basically have to accept on the spot right? Must look bad to tell a firm that and then want to wait for other offers right?

It took me 0.1 seconds, that's how long it takes me to do anything. Hmm.
