RIKER

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Sep 30, 2010 6:24 pm

All I've ever wanted is an offer from Riker.... but all silence so far.

Anybody else hear yet? I'm losing hope.

For those waiting. What was your callback like? How many attorney's, morning or afternoon? Any lunches?

I've had mine in the last week. Morning, interviews with two partners and lunch with an associate. For what it's worth, I was told that I was near the end of their callbacks, that they had already extended some offers, and that the process was basically winding down and should be finished within a few weeks.

I should have added in my above post that at my recent callback, an associate mentioned that a few offers have been extended recently.

Do you mind saying how long between the CB and Offer, if you know. Thanks

The Riker associate who mentioned that callbacks had been made didn't specify. I was told that I would hear within 3 weeks of my callback, for what its worth.

I was scheduled for an interview with them during the second week of August, if that helps anyone in knowing how early the recruiting season started. Sent them my materials in early July.

That's not particularly surprising. When I interviewed at Riker last week, they told me that they were pretty much done and that I just squeaked in.

That being said, I emailed them my materials in mid-late September, so they were accepting applications by email until pretty late in the game.

So all's quiet on the Riker front today?

On a procedural note, how does Riker send out rejections? Email? Snail mail?
