Re: What's your offer:callback success rate?
I'm surprised your CSO was so bold.
My cb to offer ratio was <50%, but the specific firms were consistent with their own cb to offer ratios from previous years. I got offers from firms that gave out 75-100% offers to people they extended offers to last year, and I didn't get offers from firms that were known to give 10+ cbs and 0-2 offers.

Re: What's your offer:callback success rate?
UVA 4/6, 66%
From people I've talked to, it's definitely feast or famine. I know a lot of people who are 0/5 and a lot of people who are like 7/10.

Re: What's your offer:callback success rate?
1 offer, 1 rejection, 2 withdrawals.
I heard that last year slightly less than 50% of callbacks resulted in offers, but obviously that doesn't mean everyone with a callback has a 50% chance at an offer. Some people, for whatever reasons, will do well at the callback stage, while others will not.

Bit surprising considering that UVA is preselect. I'd expect the culling to happen at the screening stage.Anonymous User wrote:UVA 4/6, 66%

T25
13 OC interviews, 9 CBs offered, 7 CBs accepted, 3 offers, 2 post-CB rejections, 2 outstanding when my top firm (third offer) came through. Withdrew from outstanding firms.

Most of the people I know are top third or so, so I think it's really about personality.Kohinoor wrote:Bit surprising considering that UVA is preselect. I'd expect the culling to happen at the screening stage.Anonymous User wrote:UVA 4/6, 66%

My guess is the bottom half or so was culled at the preselect/callback stage.

Re: What's your offer:callback success rate?
9 offers of 10 callbacks
3/3 in secondary market
6/7 in NYC
Note that the 1 rejection is from an interview that I thought went really well and at least 2 of the offers came after interviews that I thought went horrendously. Weird how things work out.
