Paul Weiss
What do people think of Paul Weiss? I am very interested in litigation and have an offer there. I also have offers at firms higher in the Vault including S&C, and a couple other V-10's. I liked the people a lot at Paul Weiss. Should I take a more prestigious firm or is PW very highly regarded? Also, I have heard they are really workaholics there. Can anyone confirm? What are the hours like? Any other useful info would be great. Thanks!

Re: Paul Weiss
Paul Weiss is highly prestigious for litigation. Corporate is decent, but not uber elite.

I've heard great lit practice... probably shouldn't pass up a V10 if you want to go corp.

Re: Paul Weiss
I was in the same position as the OP a few years ago. Chose Paul Weiss for lit over S&C, Skadden and Debevoise. For lit in NYC they're pretty much tops. They get some phenominal cases (they had Spitzer back when I was a SA). They also had great people working there (associates and SAs). I ended up not going back (clerked and went to the federal gov't), but if I were to go to a firm it would be there.
