This is hilarious. I specifically told my dad that if he is going to call me not to leave a voicemail because the missed call icon combined with the voicemail icon on my phone made me anxious. Also, GULC felt the need to test their emergency notification alerts (which includes phone calls) the week right after OCI, and I know many of my peers were angry that they didn't wait a few weeks ;-)

I changed the ringtone for "known" callers in my Contact List vs. "unknown" (not blocked, just not in my Contact List) callers. It helped.

I saved my anger for the firms that decided to do phone rejections. Yes, it's a thing.

Got a call from the 212 area code today, ran out of class and it was a wrong number. I tried my best to be polite to her...
