California offers come in late?

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Sep 11, 2010 8:14 pm

I'm getting pretty stressed about not having an offer despite having done 6 callbacks in the last 3 weeks (1 ding already).

Do California offers come in later than other states, or no?

I got 20 callbacks, 1 ding so far, went on 6 of them already, but for 3 of 'em its been like 2 weeks now.. I'm starting to get worried.

if you have 20 callbacks you're doing more than fine. i have much fewer and have yet to hear back. you have at least 5x more CBs tahn the average student; you are obviously well-qualified and someone is going to give you an offer. calm down.

I'd say there's a decent chance that the second half of this sentence proves the first half.

If you have 20 callbacks it's impossible that you're not interviewing well.

This is not necessarily true. CBs involve more interviewing and more data points with regard to whether you have a shitty personality or not. It's possible that screening interviewers could have shitty personalities themselves and/or firms might just CB everyone above a certain GPA.

This is coming from someone who had A LOT of CBs and 1 offer.

i think OP's major concern should be whether he can keep his flame burning through all 20 CBs
