S&C
Does anyone know if they're still doing offer on the spot this year? Also does anyone know how long the interview is? Is there any more interviewing after lunch?

They are doing offers on the spot this year, but I know someone who received an offer two days after the CB, so don't give up hope if you don't get one on the spot. Not sure about the length.

OP here. My interview w/ them is next week and I'm wondering when they give the offer if it is on the spot. Is it during lunch? after lunch? first interview?

Congratulations on the cb. Chances are pretty good you'll get offered on the spot if you don't go postal and start shooting people.Anonymous User wrote:OP here. I got mine during the last interview of the day. I heard that also from a few other people.
Good luck! You'll be fine if you don't screw up big-time.

Bump, really don't want to head someplace where Summers run a substantial risk of getting no-offered at the end of the summer .... anyone with thoughts on the above question?

So, how did you do?Anonymous User wrote:OP here. My interview w/ them is next week and I'm wondering when they give the offer if it is on the spot. Is it during lunch? after lunch? first interview?
I got offered during the last interview of the day a couple weeks ago so they're still doing on the spot offers.

Most likely 100% still. This firm has been consistent about that.Anonymous User wrote:Bump, really don't want to head someplace where Summers run a substantial risk of getting no-offered at the end of the summer .... anyone with thoughts on the above question?

Unsure. Deciding between the other V5 and waiting to hear from Wachtell. I doubt I'll get Wachtell so it'll probably be down to s&c and dpw.Anonymous User wrote:Congratulations! Yes, I'm the poster who asked. I too am having a hard time, deciding between S&C, STB and Cravath. I loved everything about STB, liked S&C and Cravath very much; also offered by DPW but felt no chemistry so declined.Anonymous User wrote:Unsure. Wachtell dinged me.
It's a nice problem to have though. Good luck on your decision!

Also recently received an end-of-the-day on-the-spot offer. Very excited, but still waiting on DPW, which would probably be my top choice.

What schools do you all go to?
Does a tier II have a shot?
Also, what if you never had a screening or OCI interview? Anyone in a similar situation?

Re: S&C
I would say that anyone has a shot at S&C. If they don't recruit at your school though, you may be fighting an uphill battle. However, unlike a lot of other top firms, S&C has a reputation for looking past pedigree for great candidates elsewhere.Anonymous User wrote:What schools do you all go to?

If S&C = Sanchez & Culpepper, then perhaps so. But very few have a shot at SullCrom.Anonymous User wrote:I would say that anyone has a shot at S&C

Ms. Very Strong Grades, is that you? Are you the one with "very strong grades"? I can't tell. Do you mind clarifying whether or not you are the one with the very strong grades?Anonymous User wrote:OP stands for "original poster."
