So I've decided to become a patent appellate specialist (fed cir); have callbacks at great appellate firms like gibson dunn (teddy o) and king and spalding (clements) DC
Does anyone know if going to these appellate firms that are not necessarily brand names in IP law (got cbs at places like finnegan, covington, et al) is a bad idea? Or should I go to a "patent" powerhouse like finnegan, covington, ropes, weil, irell, etc? I wanna train to be a patent appellate guy who parachutes in at the Fed Cir level.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get offers at some of these places (probably in top 2% at top 14)

their dc office has more federal circuit clerks than any other firm barring finnegan (maybe)
