at a job fair, when the firm has already rejected you after your OCI interview with them?

I guess you could try, but firms keep records and only certain people do interviews. Even if you get an interview and like you, those interviewers will know others rejected you and that is more likely than not an insurmountable barrier to an offer. Generally, to get an offer everyone needs to like you and some people need to champion you, and I don't think that will happen in your case.
Of course, it probably doesn't hurt to try (except wasted time and effort). The better bet is to do a different summer gig, build up your resume and maybe give them a shot as a 3L if you really love the firm.

Firms keep very detailed HR records of everyone they interview with. You can try, but there's no way the firm won't know they've already rejected you.

+1. Unless they told you to apply again or something - but this would only really apply if you're a 3L who interviewed as a 2L. If they rejected you once, I am not sure why you would want to apply again....Anonymous User wrote:Save your pride.

What about at two different branch offices?

Perhaps, but you better have a great reason why you want that other office. Chances still aren't great, but be reasonably up front about the fact that you also applied to one of their other offices.Anonymous User wrote:What about at two different branch offices?
