Yes - writing sample, resume, references and transcript (with at least one official copy) to be safe. Some firms will send you an email/letter advising what to bring after you schedule.

I brought five resumes and transcripts, and three writing samples and references lists. I was asked for nothing, but I think it's still better to be safe. Other than the folder to keep all those papers in, you don't need anything else.

+1. I've been bringing things, but 4 CBs so far (in NYC and DC) and nobody has asked for a thing.

A firm asked me to fill out several background authorization forms to bring to the callback (i.e. work history, address history, etc). No other firms asked for this...not sure what to make of it.
