Re: Would you work for Kirkland & Ellis?
Um, any reason not to work for them if you're saddled with debt, want biglaw and have no other offers?

I'd work
84 hours/week for 160k; AND they can whip me whenever I blink the slightest. I'd still have a grin from ear to ear.

I don't care how bad the job sucks--if somebody's willing to pay you that kind of money, you suck it up and go to work there. Only time i'd think twice would be if I had a better offer from another firm like Cravath.

It's even more dumb when the OP deletes the question and nobody benefits from knowing what the stupid question is; opening the forum up to another debate about this by somebody else who didn't see this.

Re: .
Question was basically "should I work at Kirkland?" with no other information, poll was "yes/no"ResolutePear wrote:It's even more dumb when the OP deletes the question and nobody benefits from knowing what the stupid question is; opening the forum up to another debate about this by somebody else who didn't see this.

And with more people likely to get interest from Kirkland, chances are pretty good somebody else is going to ask the same exact question.disco_barred wrote:Question was basically "should I work at Kirkland?" with no other information, poll was "yes/no"ResolutePear wrote:It's even more dumb when the OP deletes the question and nobody benefits from knowing what the stupid question is; opening the forum up to another debate about this by somebody else who didn't see this.
